Multi-vitamins for really inflammed stomachs?

My doctor says I’m malnourished and low in vitamins. I haven’t been taking any because they all seem to really inflame my stomach – even the gentle ones. I definitely can’t do tablets & pills. Liquids don’t work because they’re always flavored and I can’t tolerate flavors. So I ended up with a powdered multi "Essential Mix Multi-Vitamins without sucralose" It worked for a while and then even that ended up hurting really badly – even when I only took 1/4 of the recommended dose, and even if I took it on a full stomach.

I have two inflammations in my stomach that the doctor thought were ulcers, but since I tested negative for H pylori, she said they’re not ulcers they’re just inflammations. I know that anything with tannins really burns a lot, as does any acidic food. (I also have GERD.)

I wish I could get my vitamins via my food in a natural state, but I have gastroparesis, and so I can only have 4-8oz servings 6-8 times a day which makes it hard enough for me to get my calories let alone my vitamins & minerals. I’m fine when I eat yogurt and rice milk and smoothies; it’s just most foods, supplements and vitamins really irritate it :-(

Do you have any suggestions for liquid or powdered vitamins that are meant for extremely sensitive stomachs – that don’t have any flavors in them?

I’ve looked into sublingual vitamins, too, but they don’t seem to make them in multi-vitamins. I can only really find B complex and C.

I’ve also looked into patches. I’ve only found one for B-12.

Why don’t you find a Homeopathic doctor through your local association. It would be better to find out what is causing all of these digestive issues (what is causing the inflammation?) — please note that the cause and the symptoms are not the same thing — and eliminate the cause. This is what Homeopathy is all about. It’s safe, gentle and effective.
You will probably be surprised to learn that it’s not an excess of stomach acid that causes these problems, but too little. But at this stage, you need professional help and support and the usual route isn’t helping you.
BTW vitamins will not replace a well balanced diet.

too bad that you are messed up, but I will try to help. It appears to me that you should attempt to clear up the inflammation instead of trying to find the way around the problem. When your inflammation cools you will be able to eat like normal people. To quell inflammation…… the spice turmeric heals, also fish oil. You probably have to eat oily fish (sardines, salmon, anchovie 3 times a week because you will have a problem digesting fish oil caps. Drink green tea, ginger tea. Eat DGL. DGL is deglizzerised licorice. You need to buy REAL DGL licorice as most sold as licorice is really something else. DGL does not raise blood pressure as plain licorice does. GERD is made worse (acid rebound) by antacids. Drink cold water when you can. Cabbage and sauerkraut juices heal inflammations. contact Life Extension Foundation (LEF.org) and ask about their very wonderful powdered vitamin mineral herbal supplement.
